At their November 5 meeting, SEAMO’s Governing Committee unanimously approved the distribution of Year 1 & 2 rate increases to Departments.

eConsults can now be sent to a brand new self-managed heart failure group in the Southeast region with questions being answered by Drs. Aws Almufleh, the physician lead of the Heart Function Clinic, and Dr. Hoshiar Abdollah, a senior physician and educator.

We are excited to share a new integration which enables physicians to send eConsults to the Ontario eConsult Service on the OTNhub directly from their integrated EMR via Ocean!

The volume of eReferrals being sent in the Southeast keeps rising - from April 1 to August 31, 2022, there have been 18,725 eReferrals sent! eReferral is helping to make the lives of patients and physicians easier every day!

Chloe Robinson joins the SEAMO admin team as the new Project Coordinator this fall. Her portfolio will include management of funding opportunities and recruitment.
