Dr. Liora Berger joins the Department of Psychiatry. Dr. Berger completed her medical degree at the University of Queensland Faculty of Medicine in 2015 and has been actively practicing psychiatry since November 2023. Her addition to the team is expected to enhance the department's clinical and academic capabilities, contributing to the ongoing excellence in psychiatric care.
Dr. Cara McQuaid joins the Department of Pediatrics. Dr. McQuaid completed her medical degree at Queen’s University in 2018. She received certification in Pediatrics from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in 2023. She has been practicing at the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario in Ottawa, where she is part of the Department of Critical Care Medicine.
Dr. Theunis van Zyl joins the Department of Anesthesiology. Dr. van Zyl completed his medical degree at the Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry, Western University, in 2018. He has been actively practicing anesthesiology since July 2018 and is certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. His addition to the team is expected to enhance the department's clinical and academic capabilities, contributing to the ongoing excellence in anesthesiology care.
