In early 2024, SEAMO is excited to introduce five new physicians in four different Departments joining the team.
Dr. Rachel Curtis joins the Department of Ophthalmology in February after completing her training and residency at Queen’s University. She completed fellowships in ocular oncology at the University of Calgary and Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami, Florida.
Dr. Bassem El Attal joins the Department of Pediatrics in February after completing his postgraduate training at McMaster University and University of Toronto in neonatal-perinatal medicine.
Dr. Durjoy Lahiri joined the Department of Medicine, Division of Neurology in January after completing postgraduate training at the University of Toronto. He is currently a clinical fellow at Baycrest Health Sciences and Rotman Research Institute at the University of Toronto.
Dr. Christina Moi joins the Department of Psychiatry in February after completing her postgraduate training at Queen’s University.
Dr. Joshua Penslar joined the Department of Pediatrics in January as a pediatric cardiologist. He completed his medical training at McMaster University, his residency and a fellowship at the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (University of Ottawa) and subspecialty training at SickKids (University of Toronto).
