Deputy Head of the Department of Pediatrics and Chair of the Division of General Pediatrics Dr. Richard van Wylick says he is looking forward to seeing more practitioners take advantage of the eReferral services in the future.

Orthopedic specialist Dr. Aaron Campbell is currently taking part in a pilot project for the Division of Orthopedic Surgery to evaluate if eConsult is a viable method to address patients’ concerns and needs.

Psychiatry as a specialty made up three per cent of the total number of eConsults sent in the past 12 months. Dr. Sarosh Khalid-Khan would like that number to increase.

In a dedicated space on Kidd7 at the Kingston General Hospital (KGH) site of the Kingston Health Sciences Centre (KHSC) is a brand-new vascular ultrasound lab.
