We are happy to welcome two new physicians to Team SEAMO in October 2024.
Dr. Arun Agha joins the Department of Medicine as a Palliative Medicine Physician. He completed his medical degree and a Master of Science in Rehabilitation Science at the University of British Columbia. Dr. Agha trained in Internal Medicine at the University of Toronto before completing his subspecialty training in Palliative Medicine at Queen’s University. He also has experience as a locum hospitalist at Brockville General Hospital. Dr. Agha holds dual Fellowships from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in Internal Medicine and Palliative Medicine.
Dr. Marc Woodbury-Smith joins the Department of Psychiatry, bringing expertise in autism spectrum disorder (ASD). His research has focused on the genetics of ASD, and he previously worked as an Associate Professor at McMaster University and an Associate Investigator at the Centre for Applied Genomics at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto. Dr. Woodbury-Smith has postdoctoral training in genetic epidemiology and statistical genetics from the University of Toronto.
